Entertainment Terms and Conditions of Booking
1 Payment
1.1 Deposit A non-refundable deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the total amount is due at the time of booking via our secure payment link. This deposit secures your booking and ensures our services are reserved for your event.
1.2 Balance Payment The remaining balance can be paid via our secure payment link before the date of the booking. Alternatively, the balance can be settled upon our arrival at the booking by cash. Bookings are either marked as ‘paid in advance’ or ‘cash on arrival’. We are unable to take card payments or bank transfers on the day of the event. If you wish to pay by card or bank transfer, you must do so prior to your booking.
1.3 Full Payment Requirement Full payment must be made before the commencement of any service. Failure to settle the full amount prior to the event will result in the cancellation of the booking without a refund of the deposit.
2 Cancellation
2.1 Rescheduling Due to Urgent Reasons If you need to cancel due to health, illness, family emergency, or other urgent reasons, please notify us as soon as possible. We will try to arrange a suitable reschedule. All bookings are non-refundable.
2.2 Notice for Cancellation We appreciate as much notice as possible so that we may attempt to fill the date with another booking.
2.3 TG Parties Cancellation In the unlikely event that TG Parties is unable to attend due to ill health or other unforeseen circumstances, we will inform you as soon as possible and make every effort to organize a suitable replacement. If a replacement cannot be found, a full refund of any monies paid will be provided.
2.4 Lockdown Cancellations In the event of national/local lockdowns due to a virus, a refund is at our discretion and not guaranteed. Each incident will be assessed individually to determine the appropriate course of action.
2.5 Weather Cancellations For outdoor events, we will assess the weather and try to provide at least twelve (12) hours' notice if the weather conditions are unsuitable. Refunds are not available, and if your booking is outside, you should have a poor weather plan. We will always try to reschedule with you.
3 Weather
3.1 Outdoor Event Contingency If your booking is for an outdoor event and is reliant on the weather, please ensure that a suitable indoor space is available in case of heavy rain or high winds.
3.2 Indoor Space Unavailability If an alternative indoor space is not available, please refer to Section 2 (Cancellation) for the relevant terms.
4 Child Supervision
4.1 Supervision Requirement Children must be supervised at all times during our performances. Adequate adult supervision is essential to ensure the safety of all attendees.
4.2 Adult Supervisors for Performances For entertainment performances, at least two (2) suitable adult supervisors (over 18) must be present at all times. This ensures the safety of the children and the smooth running of the entertainment.
5 Smoking, Vaping, Food and Drink, and Pets
5.1 Smoking and Vaping Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited within the area of the performance, whether this is in a private home, garden, or public place.
5.2 Pets Pets should be secured away from the performance area at all times to prevent any disturbances and ensure safety.
5.3 Food and Drink Food and drink must be kept well away from the performance area to maintain cleanliness and order.
6 Date, Time, and Venue
6.1 Delivery Specifications The entertainment will be delivered on the date, at the time, and at the place specified in your booking confirmation.
6.2 Booking Confirmation Changes If any details in your booking confirmation are incorrect or if you need to make any changes, please contact us as soon as possible to make the necessary adjustments.
7 Parking and Access
7.1 Parking Availability Please ensure there is legal parking available close to the venue with easy access. This includes ensuring parking is available at venues or homes where there is only street parking or residents' parking.
7.2 Parking Issues If no free legal parking is available at your venue, or if you believe parking may be an issue, please discuss this with us at the time of booking or as soon as possible before the event date.
7.3 Access Requirements Please ensure that access to the desired delivery location is ample. If your venue requires stairs to access, please contact us to discuss.
7.4 Venue Upstairs Notification If your venue is located upstairs, please notify us as soon as possible so we can make necessary arrangements.
8 Staff Safety
8.1 Right to Refuse or Terminate Booking We take the safety and security of our team very seriously and reserve the right to refuse or terminate a booking at any time (including during a booking) if our staff feel uncomfortable or unsafe. This includes, but is not limited to, the following behaviours:
Shouting
Swearing
Discrimination
Physical violence (including from children)
Threats
Inappropriate or sexual conduct
8.2 No Refund for Safety Breaches If we must leave a booking due to any of the above reasons, no refund will be given under any circumstances, and the incident will be reported to the police.
9 Photographic/Video Recordings
9.1 Photography and Video Recording Photography and video recording during performances are welcomed and encouraged. If you share any content on social media, please tag our accounts.9.2 Marketing and Social Media We may take our own photographs and videos for marketing and social media purposes during any booking. Please inform all parents and guardians beforehand. If you would prefer that we do not take photos or videos, please explicitly state this before the performance begins.
